What's new
Changes that members and organizers will notice, newest first. Many of these came straight from your feedback, so keep it coming at support@pickshub.app.
Co-admins can pay for the pool
- Co-admins now see the Payments tab and can activate the pool or pay a top-up, not just the owner. Whoever pays gets the receipt, and every admin sees the pool's full payment history.
- Promoting admins, transferring the pool, and deleting it stay with the owner.
Who picked whom
- The Picks Grid now opens with a tally of how many entries took each team that week, with the share of picks and a win or loss mark once the game is decided.
- It follows the same reveal rules as the grid: picks stay out of the count until your pool's deadline, or until their game kicks off.
One email for all your entries
- If you have several entries in a pool, pick confirmations and lock notices now arrive as a single email listing every entry and its pick, instead of one email per entry.
- Pick confirmations wait a couple of minutes after your last change so a run of picks across entries lands in one message.
Live scores on the picks page
- Once a game kicks off, its tile on the picks page shows the score (for example "NO 30 @ DET 31") with the leader highlighted, and it keeps updating while the game is live.
- The "Save now" button is gone. Picks have saved automatically since you tap a team, and the button only made people wonder whether they still needed to press it.
Picks stay secret until your pool's deadline
- The Picks Grid now keeps everyone's picks hidden until your pool's own weekly deadline, not the week's first kickoff. Pools with a Sunday deadline no longer reveal picks on Thursday night.
- Picks on games that have already kicked off show as soon as the game starts, since those picks are locked anyway. Your own picks are always visible to you.
Away team listed first, with a clear home marker
- Each game on the picks grid now reads the way schedules and broadcasts do: away team first, home team second, with the matchup shown as "DET @ BUF".
- The home team carries a small HOME tag so the order never has to be guessed, including on phones where the two teams stack vertically.
Point spreads on the picks grid
- Every team tile shows the current point spread (for example "-3" or "+3.5") so you can size up a matchup without leaving the page.
- Lines refresh hourly through the week and freeze once a game kicks off.
- Spreads are shown for information only. PicksHub does not accept or facilitate wagers.
Activation reminders for organizers
- Organizers with a pool still in draft get an automatic heads-up a few days before the next lock, and again the day before, so no one gets caught out.
Remove a single entry from a draft pool
- Organizers can now remove one entry from a member who has several, instead of removing the whole member, while the pool is still in draft.
Co-admins
- Pool owners can promote members to pool admin. Co-admins can manage the roster, picks, and settings.
- Payments, promoting other admins, and deleting the pool stay with the owner.
Pick before you activate
- Members can make picks as soon as they join, even while the pool is still in draft.
- Organizers activate the pool when they are ready and pay only for entries that have actually made a pick.
Member numbers and a commissioner guide
- Every member gets a pool-specific number (#1, #2, ...) that organizers can use in emails and messages.
- New public guide: how to run an NFL survivor pool.
Activation flow improvements
- Members can request activation for all of their entries with one tap, and organizers see a confirmation step with the joined-member count before their first payment.
- Activation-request emails now include a one-click activate link for organizers.
Member activation tracking
- Organizers get a per-member ledger to track who has settled up. Money still changes hands off-platform; PicksHub only tracks status.
Voided weeks on the grid
- When an organizer voids a week, the picks grid shows a "Voided" badge and a short explanation of what that means for standings.
Message board, broadcasts, and a fixed weekly deadline
- Each pool has a message board, and organizers can send a broadcast email to everyone at once.
- New lock option: a fixed weekly deadline (for example, Saturday at noon) instead of the first kickoff.
- Organizers can reset a member’s team usage when a rule change calls for it.
- Multi-entry pools: choose your number of entries when you join, and view everyone’s picks once the week locks.
Sign in with Google or Apple
- One-tap sign-in alongside the existing email and password option.
Create your own pool, plus winner and loser reuse rules
- Organizers can create a survivor pool themselves from the dashboard.
- Choose how team reuse works: no repeat winners, no repeat losers, or neither. The grid shows which teams are used up for each entry.
Pool completion and tie rules
- Pools now finish themselves: a winner is declared when one entry remains, and organizers pick a tie rule for the case where the last entries fall together.
- Members receive a final-standings email when the pool completes.
